Brian graduated from the NSW Institute of Technology (now the University of Technology, Sydney) in 1986. Brian has more than twenty-five years professional experience, including fifteen years as a senior associate of major practices. Brian has been involved in all stages of a range of institutional projects, including hospitals and schools, as well as office buildings, retirement villages and residential projects.
Brian has particular expertise in healthcare design and was involved at senior level in the planning and delivery of a number of major public healthcare projects in both Australia and New Zealand
As project architect and associate in charge, Brian Cunningham managed the briefing, design and documentation of complex projects in excess of $100million; these have included a variety of procurement methods including fast-track, construction management, DD&C and GMP. A number of projects which were Brian’s responsibility have been recognised with design and property industry awards.
